MLC Shipowner Training 2011/12
The MCA has run a series of two day training programmes for the Maritime Industry, with a view to educating shipowners on the UK requirements of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006. |
The courses have been well attended and from feedback to date, shipowners have found it useful, and are now better informed on the new requirements; consequently they are better able to prepare for MLC inspections to be carried out by the MCA. |
Some shipowners are also taking advantage of the pre-ratification MLC inspections being offered by the MCA to UK shipowners in the forthcoming months; for more information contact your local MCA Marine Office. (Click here for details) or email us at : mlc@mcga.gov.uk |
